Research progress of treatment drugs for SARS-CoV-2

Abstract

Abstract: Since the outbreak of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in 2019, its prevention and treatment have become one of the most popular fields at home and abroad. It is a respiratory infectious disease caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2), which seriously endangers human health and life safety, so the discovery and research of its related drugs is especially important. This paper analyzed and summarized the targets of SARS-CoV-2 therapeutic drugs, related chemical drugs, and the targeting effects of related Chinese herbal medicine monomers. Particularly, the research status of COVID-19 treatment drugs were reviewed in order to provide clue for follow-up studies.
